1st tooth mighty brave

Peyton lost her first tooth on March 5th,  2013.  She was brave and pulled it all by herself. 

banana bread

This recipe is so easy and I think the only banana bread recipe I have tried, but so good and easy why try another. It only makes one loaf and sometimes I add chocolate chips.


2 cups flour (all-purpose, whole-wheat or a mixture of both)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3-4 bananas, mashed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons milk

Stir together dry ingredients. Beat together remaining ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and blend until just combined. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour ans 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (I use a 9x6 pan like for a cake and bake for about 45 minutes.)

We loves this bread so much I;m baking about 2 times a month.

Emma lost her 7th tooth today, Peyton who is 14 months to the day younger is waiting for the day she will loose her first tooth.

A friend of mine made a FaceBook post that got me thinking, I went to bed thinking about it and woke up in the middle of the night thinking about and when I got up in the morning thinking about.

Her post, "if I could turn back time."  I comented back with "if I could find away" (the song by Cher). This post really got to me and after the Cher song was out of my head I couldnt stop thinking.

I thought about it....

If I could turn back time, I would have done this.
If I could turn back time, I wouldn't have done that.
If I could turn back time, I would have dated this person.

If I could turn back time, I wouldn't have dated that person.

If I could turn back time, I would wouldn't have moved to another state.

If I could turn back time, I would have did things different in high school.

If I could turn back time, I would have done better in college.

If I could turn back time, I would have worked harder.

The list can go on and on, but if I could turn back time my life wouldn't be as it is today. I'm so happy that God has a plan for me.

I have a wonderful husband!

I have 3 crazy wonderful kids!
Most importantly I said, I DO to Jesus, to follow him!

So, now I don't want to turn back time, I want to live in the moment that I have been given.
